The Bomani Lodge is situated near the only year round water hole in the area ensuring a fair dose of daily wildlife sight seeing. The area is a 5000 acre estate in the Ngamo forest section of the Hwange Game Reserve in Zimbabwe. The lodge has electricity and hot running water and 9 spacious luxury tents which overlook the surrounding grassy plains.
The lodge is built near the National Park borders which belongs to the local communuties. This allows the lodge to partake in local conservation and comminity projects, some of which are included in the list of activities available at the lodge and it also allows the lodge to reduce its environmental footprint.
This lodge is not child friendly due to the location of the tents however exceptions can be made for children over 7 years of age.
Accommodation
Accommodation at Bomani Lodge in Hwange consists of 9 large luxury tents as well as one thatched bungalow. The lodge offers intimate and exclusive accommodation on raised teak platforms allowing guests to view the surrounding grass plains. Each tent is furnished to provide an elegant yet comfortable feel and are made of canvas that is designed to keep even the smallest of insects outside. The tents feature an en-suite bathroom and a private veranda.
